As we all try to do our best to help our environment sometimes we get to the point where we have to consume a non eco-friendly product such as laptop\cellphone etc.. In this post we will share with you some of the basic tips for a better recycling for the times where you get to this point- it is also relevant for anyone who would like to get started in the journey to help our planet.

The amount of trash and waste we have in our world is tremoundes:
"Every year we dump a massive 2.12 billion tons of waste. If all this waste was put on trucks they would go around the world 24 times." The World Counts
This stunning amount of waste is partly because 99 percent of the things we buy are trashed within 6 months. This numbers are shocking and yet most of the world is still consuming endlessly!
To make a change we have to first stop consuming so much.

And if finally we get to buy it and need to get rid of it, it is important to know how to 'get rid' of it in the right way.
If we do buy products that we NEED than it is important to make a difference between the different types of materials of our waste:
Electronic Waste (E-Waste)
All our old phones, laptops, computers, batteries etc. These products are very toxic and contain many different types of heavy metals and chemicals that are harming most of our body systems. The best way to treat these products in a sustainable approach is to dump it in a proper e-waste recycling point, in many countries the stores that sell electronics are taking products for recycle. It is important not to throw it into the landfill as it can harm the environment and natural water reserves.

Plastics
Plastic is well known for how harmful it is to all of us, most of the plastics are recycled and reused, some of the plastics are not recycled such as Polystyrene as the process of its recycle cost too much for its worth.
